The Notice Board
This picture took some time and a lot of planing and picture taking. The first thing I did was look for things to take pictures, which was unsuccessful the first day, but the next day I found the notice board outside the arts center and thought it would make an interesting picture to turn into cubes, and I think I was right (but that’s not for me to decide). I than uploaded the picture to my computer and cropped out the sides. I cut the sides out because it didn’t add anything to the picture and it drew attention away from the main focal point (the notice board). Than I turned the board into cubes with a black lining around it because I think it made look like it was pasted on. Finally I added black outline to the remaining white in the picture than blurred the outside of the board because it drew more attention towards the focal point. I am happy with the overall result of my picture.

Multicultural Poster
This image took some work and a lot of thinking. At first I made a bunch of different skin coloured hands wrapped around the world to represent that we need all races to keep the world up. But I couldn’t use it because it was copyright, so I made a new picture of a dove with the flags of the world for feathers and the world tied to a rope in the doves mouth in space. This picture represents that all of the worlds races is that bird and we should all learn to get along and be as peaceful as a dove.

Sunrise
This picture took some time and it was a lot of work. At first I wanted to make a guy writing on a peace of paper, but that didn’t really work out, so I started looking on the internet for some ideas and I came across a picture similar to this one, but with no people and it was at night. I decided to make a sunrise because a sunrise represents creativity and I thought it fit well with this assignment. The reason I made the sunrise those colours is because that is what a sunrise looks like and I thought it went well with the rest of the picture. The reason I put a hill there is because it looked weird just as flat ground, so I tried to put a hill in and I thought it looked better. I put a tree in because I thought it balanced out the picture. There are people in the picture because I wanted to make it look like that they were deep in thought as the sun rises on them. I put the hill, tree and the people all black because the light of a new day of thoughts and expressions hasn’t hit them yet, but it is close enough to cast a shadow. Overall I am happy with this picture, but I think if I had a bit more time I could have made it better.

Restored Photo
This is a photo of three army soldiers that I restored. This picture used to have what looked like tears in the photo, but I used the clone stamp tool in photoshop to get rid of the rips and blend them to make it look like they where never there. I didn't save the original photo, I just uploaded it right to photoshop, so I don't have a before and after to show you all that I have done to this picture so I hope you take my word for it that I did work on it. I am pretty happy with this photo, my only problem would be the nose on the guy standing up in the middle. The reason for this is it was harder than the rest of the photo because it had more shadows, so it kind of looks weird, but overall I think I did a good job on this photo.

Overall I am happy with the results of my pictures. First I started a completely different picture, something that was pretty complicated (which I thought I could do but I would later realize that I couldn't). Once I realized that I couldn't do that picture I made a couple of cool random designs, and that's where I got the idea to make the first picture (the red one with the green target). For that picture I first made the background a gradient with the colours red and black. After that I put the big target in the middle, the reason I made the target so big is so it's not just a background image. I made the target light green is because it went well with the dark colours. For the second picture I first made the background a gradient using the colours light blue and black. The reason I used these colours was that I knew I was going to use a snow flake so i wanted to use that blue to symbolize winter and the black just went well with the blue. I made the snowflake white because again I wanted to symbolize winter and it wouldn't make much sense to make a red snowflake.

The first thing I did for this picture was pick a background, at first I picked a background of a desert, but after a while I didn't like that background, so I cropped it and picked this picture. I picked this background because it looked cool and different. The next thing I did was get the egg, clock and a street lamp and put them in the background. I than put the clock in the top right in up there then used the tool "overlay" to blend it in with the sky. after that I merged the clock and the egg together, than I started to play around with tools and started placing things in different. I put the street lamp in the bottom right corner and made it so it was falling over, but than you opened my eyes to the fact that it wasn't that good there so i cropped that one and put the new one in there. After that I put the egg clock in front of the moon so it is glowing behind it, and finally i played around with everything else until it looked like i does now.

Andy Warhol silk screen
The first thing I did for this project was I picked this picture of me off of facebook. I picked this picture because I thought the pose was a good look for this project and I knew I could do allot with it. next I cropped out the background and the pen I was holding, I cropped out the pen because it would have been to hard to colour all of the shadows and my picture looked bad with it. next I made all of the layers including my sweater, hair, hands ect. Next I picked out my colours, which were: yellow, dark blue, light blue, and dark green. I picked these colours because I wanted a good combination of light and dark colours. For the most part I am happy with my work, except for the one on the top right because I find it to dark.
