The first thing I did for this project was I picked this picture of me off of facebook. I picked this picture because I thought the pose was a good look for this project and I knew I could do allot with it. next I cropped out the background and the pen I was holding, I cropped out the pen because it would have been to hard to colour all of the shadows and my picture looked bad with it. next I made all of the layers including my sweater, hair, hands ect. Next I picked out my colours, which were: yellow, dark blue, light blue, and dark green. I picked these colours because I wanted a good combination of light and dark colours. For the most part I am happy with my work, except for the one on the top right because I find it to dark.

Jeff, I like this pose because it is different. It is interesting that you're not looking straight into the camera, and it is intriguing to guess what you have in your hands. You were supposed to talk about colour for this one and you said very little. Your colours are analogous, which means they are side-by-side on the colour wheel (yellow-green-blue)and that's why they work well together. When you say the one green is too dark, you mean the intensity or value is stronger and thus overpowers the other colours. I agree. Your technical skills are growing every day, you still need to work on your written skills, see the rubric for details. Keep up the good effort!
